What are you doing here?

- Jason: Morris and I planned a Liquid Force European demo tour around our European distributors meeting. We ended up traveling from France, Spain, Austria, Germany and Danmark. It has been amazing to see how the wake style of the sport is growing so fast all thru Europe, More and more we see younger people getting in to kiteboarding and following the LF lifeStyle, It has been great.

What do you like about scandinavia?

- Morris: I’ve been coming to scandinavia for some year now and one of the things that always impress me here is the passion that everyone has for kiteboarding, it doesn’t matter how cold or windy it is, everyone is always in the water. And the traveling here is insane, great people and great landscape.

What has been you favorite spot in Scandinavia?

- Morris: We got great conditions in Klitmoller, good surf and good waves, some surf and some kiteboarding too and they had a great seafood buffet. The local riders there are so stoked about spending time on the water and also sharing their spot with us. I would really like to have more time to explore and kite more of Scandinavia. We will have to plan that for next time!

What is the overall view of 2009 Liquid Force Kite line?

- Jason & Morris: We have both been working on the 2009 kite line with Julien Fillion and the rest of the team. The 2009 LF line is the most complete line of products that we have ever had! We have 3 different kite styles to fit all types of riders. We are both riding the SLE kite, the Havoc and the Session, mainly. Our board line rides and looks amazing, complete with three different strap options and a completely new kite specific binding that is amazing! The surfboard line has been refined for 09 with one new Quad size (5’11”, 6’0”, & 6’2”) and we have added a new fin setup on the Skate allowing the rider to choose between a 3 fin thruster setup or a quad fin setup. Each and every year our product just keeps getting better and we are always continuing on the relentless intovation of Liquid Force Kites!

Where do you see the sport going in the next few years?

- Morris: I think kiteboarding will be doing a full circle, getting back to the roots of wakeboarding and surfing. There’s alot of the top riders today that have reached a level and they can’t go any further, so they start looking in the wake and surf industry for new inspirations and it goes back to what we were focusing on since the beginning. We have seen this vision from the start and have stuck to what we believed in. I think that kiteboarding as a whole is finally starting to follow that same path. full circle!

What are the upcoming plans for the LF international kite team?

- Jason: I was planning a month long trip to Indonesia for some filming. Unfortunatly I injured my knee here in Denmark which will keep me off the water for the next month or so. I am hoping to travel home and focus on getting my knee healthy and continue filming a bit more before the end of the year. The LF kite team is always on the go! We all travel either seperatly or together all year long. It is great to have such good friends to ride and travel with! I love being part of the LF family!

- Morris: I´m going to Gotland to vaccation with my family for a few weeks and then its back to Hawaii for some filming with ACL and Indo after that. It will be alot of developing for the next few months on boards and kites and then its South America season for me. Its a never ending job, but a great job!

Will there ever be another AutoFocus video ?

- Morris: We have been talking about it for some time now and i think the time is rigth. Elliot is finishing his latest video for waves and then we will start planning the next one. We have plans to go to Australia for a month and shoot everything we can find, maybe that will be the start of the new video.
